The ear imprint process

Step 1: Personal consultation

The next step is to take an ear impression. First, a small cotton wool ball is carefully inserted into the ear canal to protect the eardrum whilst the impression is being taken.


A special impression material is then gently applied to the ear canal to accurately capture the unique shape of your ear. After a short time, the material sets and is then gently removed.


The ear impression is an important step, as it forms the basis for the manufacture of your custom-made earmoulds.

 

Step 4: Manufacturing the earmoulds 

 

The earmoulds are individually manufactured based on the ear impressions. 

As each fitting is based on your personal ear mould, the result is a solution designed specifically for your anatomy.
